Hi everyone, I'm Mint or Dana, whichever you'd like to call me and I'm new 'round these parts.

I've been playing Pokémon since I was seven or eight, when I got Pokémon Yellow and got stuck in Viridian Forest until Pikachu was level 81. I like to think I've figured things out since then. Nintendo makes an obscene amount of money off me as I've bought every single main series game other than Red (along with two Mystery Dungeons). It might be an obsession.

I want a literate Pokémon community to be active in and this one fits the bill from reading the rules, it seems. Hopefully this is a forum I can establish myself on and make some friends. I have AIM and MSN if anyone would like to contact me outside the board.

Thank you for the welcome, everyone~! This looks like a good place.

Re: the Pikachu thing, yeah. D: When I finally accidentally pushed against the edge of the forest (come on, it's just a black block and I was a dumb kid, how was I to know it was the exit, right?!), I was basically ecstatic. I went back and forth a few times to make sure it was for real xD and then Pika pwn'd the rest of the game. In retrospect I feel really stupid about it.
