My brother recently introduced me to this, and I was wondering if there was anyone here on VR that did this as a hobby.

Basically, the whole idea behind geocaching is you use a GPS device to search for caches, which can usually be found hidden in public areas such as parks, trails, and many other places. Very often its simply for fun, kind of like a real life treasure hunt though usually the treasure is simply the reward of finding the cache in the first place.

My cousins do that! I've helped them find a few, maybe 6.
I think they've found over 500. Once, I found an epic Pokémon Pikachu keychain thing.

I think my cousins went west to go do that. The did mention they had to find Boxs. I had always wonder'd why they traveled often.

To be honest, I never heard about geocaching until I saw this thread.
By the way, what exactly are those caches you're talking about? Are they random things that you find in public places?

Caches are containers that range in size and hold small items, which is mostly what geocaching is.
