The official Japanese Pokémon website has announced that all Birthday events will be ending in early November.

Nagoya Chimchar, Tokyo Charmander, and Yokohama Pikachu will no longer be available after the November deadline.

However, on September 17, they will reveal a new series of events.

Maybe something to do with BW, you can't get any closer to the release date than that.

Erm... What exactly is a Birthday Event?

And it can't be a coincidence that it's the day before B&W are released, something must be going on... Not that I'm affected by this at all.

My guess on the birthday event is it's like when you reserve a room in the theater, you and your party go in and ... party.

Also it does sound odd with it ending before Black and White.

I smell that this has something to do with B/W

Although I am sure this is regarding B/W, yet I hope they reveal something about the Azure Flute they promised to reveal soon in 2011.

Yeah. So far we haven't received the Azure Flute although they said it was coming soon. But 'the new series of events' is almost 100% regarding B/W, which gets me excited.
