Victory Road closed on January 8, 2018. Thank you for making us a part of your lives since 2006! Please read this thread for details if you missed it.
This is meant to be a serious thread, please try to be as realistic and serious as possible.
Anyways, if I had a week left, I would probably be with my family and do something fun with them. And when the world ends, I would stand by my parents as it ends.
Post what you would do in a week and try to be serious and realistic.
How is the world ending? Black hole? Meteor impact? Nuclear holocaust? Is the earth GONE gone, or is there still a husk of a planet remaining afterward?
If there's some kind of survival possibility for survival, like a meteor impact:
If we knew the meteor was coming, we'd know where it was coming from. I'd try to get to the other side of the planet with my family.
For a nuclear holocaust, the entire surface of the planet would be blasted with nukes, so the logical answer is to go underground. Go as deep into the ground as you can and hope the seismic activity from explosions doesn't cause the earth above you to cave in.
That's what I'd do.
In the event of it being THE END, I'd just sit there with my family and wait. What else could you possibly do? It wouldn't be possible to have fun knowing the end was coming. I can't honestly say I would watch it happen. It's painful to even imagine watching everything end.
Big question: Do only you know that the world is going to end, or does everyone? If only you know you can do whatever you want, but if everyone else knows, then chances are society as we know it would shut down. People would just start doing whatever they wanted and the world would fall into chaos fairly quickly, limiting a lot of the things one might want to do. The internet would probably shut down, for one thing.
I'd make sure to get in 750 posts.
