So, the new version of Buizel.net has launched. Got any comments?

Personally, I like the new layout. Much more cleaner then a generic page with frames.

A couple new pages were added, while several others were either revised or dropped entirely. A new feature is the Jukebox, which can be found by clicking the Jukebox link on the menu to the left. It is still in beta, so bear with any client-side glitches. I also really like the new My Music page. Another addition is the Pokémon of the Month. This month's Pokémon is Luxray because March "comes in like a lion".

ENJOY!

The last one is like old-school amateurish site.
It seems Cat333Pokemon is using Dreamweaver.

I have a problem to report, though. It's regarding the Brawl and Ranch galleries. I have JavaScript enabled, but the gallery says I don't. They worked fine on the old layout.

Hmm...I'm not exactly sure what to say about those two pages. I had to revise a little bit of code on them. What browser are you using?

There is one other problem I noticed when the system settings request higher or lower font sizes. The navigation bars appear either too large or too small. I think I might need to use something that uses the same size regardless of system settings, but I have no idea on how to do that. SpaceMan++, do you know?

I set font size to 22, and the layout overflows, but when I set it to 12, it does not.
To restrict the font size, add the following line to the CSS file:
* { font-size: 14pt }

I'm using Firefox, which did show pics with the old layout.

Yeah, I got the "No Javascript" error a few times, but refreshing the page once or twice usually works.

After peeking at the code, I believe I may have commented out the JavaScript!

I've been playing with FireFox recently, and I still continue to get the "No Javascript" error on your Pokémon Ranch/SSBB images galleries. Using IE I get the error the first time, but after refreshing the images load. However, refreshing in FireFox still makes the error appear. And yes I have Javascript and Java enabled.

I am going to attempt a fix tomorrow by looking at the code from my old site. Luckily, I have the entire old site archived!

Also, I fixed the navigation bars! After testing with Internet Explorer on various computers with size settings different, Firefox on the same computers, Opera on my computer and the Wii, Safari on my computer and a Mac, and NetFront on the PS3, I believe it works correctly now.

I used 12px instead of 12pt because the latter caused problems.

After tinkering around with the code, I have a few things to mention. First, I kept getting stack overflow by having an image reload itself when it loaded (fixed). Second, it still doesn't work in Firefox (debug alert boxes display, though). Third, it works fine in IE and Safari. Fourth, the old one still works in Firefox. Fifth, I've tested changing the doctype from XHTML to HTML to no avail (reverted).

If anybody has any idea how to fix this problem, I'd love to hear it.

I think it might be a conflict with my stylesheet, and I'm not going to remove that from those two pages.

After more browser testing, it works fine in Chrome, Opera, and Wii Opera. You might not believe this, but the page works better in Internet Explorer 3 than Firefox 3!

Edit: The streak was killed when I used the Mozilla-based Netscape Navigator 9.

Okay, I'll use IE until there is a Mozilla fix. BTW Cat, there is something else you're missing. I was going to say, "see attachment," but I can't do that on this forum. What you are missing is the Module file or MP3 of your DPPt Champion Battle Windows Sounds Remix. I requested it four months ago on YouTube.

I'll get to that later.

Seriously, does anyone know how to fix THIS problem? I've checked the JavaScript line for line with the working version, done a lot of debugging (wasting FOUR hours of my time :x ), and still can't get it to work.

Kind of an old update, but I did get it working a while ago by embedding the old page with an I-frame (just so I don't get more replies about it working).
