The game I did it on was Kirby's Dream Land. The score was verified by Twin Galaxies on 4/08/2008. There have since been two other scores that have beat it. I have attached a screen grab off of the Twin Galaxies website of the current scores for that game (as of 7/02/2010). I made sure to highlight my score with a red border.

Well done! As much as I try, though, I've never got a high-score or record for anything. Seriously, the closest I've come to any sort of record is being joint 13th place with 20 or so other people for the highest score on the Xbox Live leaderboards of My Name Is Jonas on Guitar Hero Three. I'm only 200 points off the high score...

Man, record-setting in video games is tough. As an example I can relate to, here's a few records for clearing Super Metroid:

Just saying thanks for all the congratulations. Also, I will not be pursuing the WR again as my cartridge has been through enough to make it unplayable.

On another note, I had been playing the game for less than a month when I set that score.
