It's definitely one of the best games on the Wii! Who else agrees that Super Mario Galaxy is the definitive sequel to Super Mario 64?

I agree. Super Mairo Galaxy is a very epic game and is definitally the true sequal to the awesomeness that was Super Mario 64. Definitally my favorite game on the Wii.

Yes. Although not BETTER than 64, it is quite the sequel.

I liked Sunshine better, but Galaxy was still an awesome game. A true sequel of SM64

I've seen that video a couple times now and really think it's a masterpiece.

I deffently have to agree that this game is a good sequeal to Mario 64 but it set up itself diffrent from both it and sunshine

SMG + RPG = Win

Nintendo + Square = Better Win

Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario RPG = Epic Win

The 4 player team was good, and then having it put in space would be even better! then, there would be 120 stars instead of just 7.

But then, there's the annoying choice of "Do we want controllable teammates and Turn battles or just give them other teammates AI and give the player little control on them?"

That may cause a Non-Paper Paper Maio type game or some other type of game that hasn't even been made yet...

I have the Mario and Luigi RPG's. And I have all 3 Paper Mario's. And Super Mario Galaxy is beast. But the greatest Mario game ever was...

Ive been meaning to borow SMG from my friend and play it for a while, Ive seen it a lot, and it looks good.

It is, it contains a whole slew of new mario abities exp. fire flower, Boo Mario ETC

2-D Mario Side-Scrollers in order from favorite to least-favorite:
-Super Mario Bros. 3
-Super Mario Bros.
-Super Mario Bros. 2

3-D Mario Platformers in order from favorite to least-favorite:
-Super Mario Galaxy
-Super Mario 64
-Super Mario Sunshine

See the pattern?

Of course these are my personal preferences...but it's funny how the first in the series is always great, but the second doesn't quite deliver as much...

But then the third one is absolutely spectacular.

(Too bad the same can't be said for Paper Mario )

One of the points of the Super Mario line is for each game to be different but stil similar.

You would think that Square and Nintendo would hate each other, but they are really close partners.

And isn't the Japanese version called Super Mario RPG?
