With being said that someone in the chat posted links to screenshots on Paper Mario possibly being remade for the 3ds, I thought I'd start a thread and all analyze it.

I said remade because a large majority of the areas and enemies look new to me, and the ones I did recognize were the common goomba, King Goomba, a wiggler (not implying that was actually in any paper mario game to my knowledge), Thwomp, and a chain chomp.

Notice that in some screenshots is a Chain Chomp. I think it's safe to say the turn-based system returns, judging by enemy placement, and partners as well; just think about why there's a chain chomp on the left side of all the screen.

I don't think this will be a simple port of the player's choice title; rather just another entry or Paper Mario's platinum of the series- better, more featured, but still keeping the originals, which I seriously doubt.

It could possibly mean several things:

• Discuss, pl0x.
• The orginal Paper Mario ported over with new features and graphically better textures
• A direct sequel to the n64 storywise
• A almost completely new entry in the franchise, while bringing old and new in (see king goomba )
• A spinoff.....?

It will most likely be just a new entry in the franchise since none of the previous ones were similar (sans a few references). I hoping it retains the full RPG style that the original and TTYD had.

I know what happens


But really it'll prabobly use the new 3DS features somehow.
