Not many people write .bat scripts. I only wrote some Linux .sh scripts
I find batch files are much easier and there are more options to toy with.

same here .sh and .py are better but i mostly use .py because they are platform independent

Oh, that thing...the one that I made really difficult to close? Or the one that you can close if you pay attention to what the message says?
I also use .pl scripts. As V8 JavaScript engine become popular, there will be .js for sys admins
