I think that's more of purposeful part of the design instead of a eff-up.
If it's possible to edit it away, that'd be good, but if not, then I guess it's not that big of a problem.(*uses default look anyway so it doesn't matter too much to him *)

Well, the text is actually resting on the lines, so to me it wouldn't be a problem.

There's actually a similar problem on the main page with text rolling off the edge in Default. It might be something to do with IE8.

You sure it doesn't depend on the skin?
