The only thing you messed up in that paragraph is "would", which should be "will", and "I" should be capitalized.

Just be sure not to be like any of the people who never finish or start there quest. The way to avoid failure and have nothing but success is to not only read the rules but follow them.

As for your grammar, it isn't horrible so why do people make fun of it? The only thing you did not do correctly was space the a from lot. 'Cause really it is supposed to be "a lot" and not "alot". However, this isn't a problem here at all. Oh yeah, you didn't capitalize the single "i" before the word stay. That too here isn't a big deal. Lastly, the word "whats" is really supposed to be "what's" but I doubt anyone will get on you about that either. Unless of course you're a Fanfiction writer and write fanfictions with those three mistakes. ;P

P.S. Three sentences isn't a paragraph.
