I don't get what you people keep complaining about. I have had Vista for almost a year now and have not had any problems with it. I even got a game from 1998 that runs just fine on it (along with anything else I need to run).

My Vista machine's been working great for the past almost two years. I've had mine since April 21, 2007. Only real problems weren't anything new.

And, apparently, blueheat127's computer caught on fire and it's toasted.

My stupidity. My stupidity!? Most of my family has been running on Linux for years and they've been totally virus-free. Please tell me the error of my ways, besides purchasing Vista?

It doesn't apply just to sites on the internet. Programs sometimes have them and most viruses are from e-mails.

I've informed the teacher which two computers did that. I'm betting someone screwed around with the copy of Office on them. At least the program can easily clean the viruses.
