I had a bit of a daze a while ago and began to think of Assist Trophy characters that would be good features in a Smash Bros. title.

1. Sexy Silvia. Granted, if a Viewtiful Joe character made it into a new title, I'm hoping Silvia would make it as at least an Assist Trophy. She could summon the Six Majin's Desperado cannon and fire it at one opponent.

2. Delano 7, from Metroid Prime: Hunters. Sylux's gunship appears and begins bombing the stage. It is weak and the hull's low integrity can be exposed to defeat it. It also makes a nice platform.

3. Waddle Dee Army. Sure, DeDeDe can summon up a load of Waddle Dees, Doos, and Gordos, but it would be nice to be able to fill up the stage with a random crapload of Dees.

4. Chao. Depending on the type that hatches out of a Chao egg, one of many different effects will occur:

Angel Chao will restore health.
Devil Chao will OHKO a random Smasher.
Normal Chao will have a Metronome-esque effect where it will summon items or take on the effects of the other two Chao.

5. Cuccos/Pigs/Mooinks. They'll become immediately enraged and begin to annihilate everyone on the field.

What characters would you like to see as Assist Trophies?

3. Metroid

4. Saki

5. Shadow

6. Mr. Resetti

That's what I think should be in the next game.

Ok well all of those have been done before so they aren't quite anything new.

I say something from the Pikmin universe should appear, such as the Careening Dirigibug. There is a Brawl trophy of it, but if you don't know, this is what it looks like.




It would basically just make bombs like the ones it is holding, and drop them on the stage. It floats around while doing so, and after dropping a few bombs it heads off.

A good Metroid Assist Trophy would be Kraid. He would basically do like he did in Melee and break the stage so it would flip.

I want to see Mega Man! Basically, he would copy someone's basic projectile and attack the other players with it!

I always wanted to see Dyna Blade, first things first. He appears at the stage, then he blows fire (about 30-40 damage) then he leaves. (I know lame one xD)

Zero-Two or Zero from Kirby 64/Kirby Dreamland 3.

I demand as such.

Zero-Two's glorious scatterbomb shots will be thrown upon the stage from afar.

Zero's Dark Matter Swarm will cut through everyone.

Also: OCTOROK AND REDEAD SWARM KTHX!

I think that Worm Guy from Paper Mario 64 would've been pretty cool. He would tell you a riddle, like "If you miss me, the dog will laugh." and if you "Ducked" he would give up Items.
