In today's divided browser market, trying to support every browser, from IE to Opera, can be a daunting task, but one that will certainly increase your hits. Google recently provided developers and users with Google Chrome Frame, which takes your existing Internet Explorer browser and fits it with Google Chrome's engine. Early in Crystal Islands renewal, I tried out Google Chrome Frame, and the results surprised me, being an avid Google Chrome user. Supporting Google Chrome Frame turned out to be a considerably more daunting challenge than supporting IE7 or IE8 without it (I personally don't care to support IE6, which Google Chrome Frame could be a viable option for). Browser crashes were more common, serious horizontal scrolling issues were presented, and users who installed Google Chrome Frame in some cases found the site to be completely broken. Surprised though I was, removal of the Frame plugin fixed things quickly, and though supporting IE7 is still a tough task (one which hasn't been perfected, either), the Frame extension made things just too much tougher. For your site, I personally do not recommend using the extension, though maybe you can make it work better. The Google Chrome browser remains tops for me.

Does Google Chrome work even better than Firefox?

Uh... This article isn't about Google Chrome, its about Google Chrome Frame, a plug-in developed for Internet Explorer.

(Though, to answer your question, its faster and more light-weight. Not necessarily better, though.)

Well, judging from your post, I don't think I'm going to try this Google Chrome Frame plug-in. After all, I do not use Internet Explorer anymore.

(Sorry for being off-topic in my previous post. I just wanted to know the answer since Firefox has been acting up on me a lot lately)
