To celebrate, I'm going to play Nazi Zombies and (hopefully) watch 28 Weeks Later.

Also I went to church for the Easter Mass. It was crowded with closet catholics.

So, what are you doing to celebrate?

Urgh, my family and I are visiting family friends, which would be ok if they weren't so well-to-do and upclass. In a few hours there will be a fancy Easter party that I will have to be at, and I don't much care for striking up conversation with wealthy socialites that I will never meet again. I'm really not that interesting.

I attended services as well, which as usual for Easter was crowded with people who never attend services. We'll be having a family lunch later without wealthy socialites, thankfully.

28 Weeks Later <3

I got up early and went to church where I ate breakfast, and we had church after that. Now I'm home and I got my Easter basket which is full of jelly beans, chocolate, and Nerds. :3

We're going to have a big lunch later.

Church, breakfast at church, and more church? This is why I don't like easter.

My dad told me that bunnies are affilated with Easter because Jesus was reincarnated as one.

Today I got some candy and ate with close family and that was it. ;3
Christian holidays aren't really Christian holidays to me. I'm glad, since I really hate religious stuff.

Then don't celebrate our religion. Get your own.

Easter and Christmas have been overrun by people who say that you have to buy stuff for Easter and Christmas. And then they act all religious and cool because they go to church twice a year.

And they still leave right after Communion! (at least at my church. It's "Get to church during the homily and leave as you go back to your seat." That's the mentality of most of our parish "members")

Anyway, I'm not celebrating religion, I'm celebrating holidays because my family does.

The rich people party is going to start soon, and I have been home a while. I was just at some other people's house, and we had this Easter Egg Hunt even though there was only one child. I guess it was family tradition? Anyway, they really got into it and were serious about it, because the eggs were in seriously good places. One was inside a bird feeder surrounded by wasps, which I courageously got. There were a few in trees, one could only be reached by pulling a ladder to scale a wall, and one was tied to a dog that was running around.

My family is Christian, but they never go to church. We celebrate Easter with the rest of the family, just like with thanksgiving and Christmas, so though I don't really believe in Jesus as our savior, I do enjoy the holiday in general. I really am all for religion, just don't follow any of the big ones.

Well, its too commercial, anyway. I think people would be a lot happier if they could just get together around the holidays, and not worry so much about the gift giving and such. I'm all for gifts, but I really just value the family time.

EXTREME Easter egg hunting! That could be like extreme ironing.

I find Zombie Jesus Day really offensive. I'm not going to start raving, but please, change the title.

How about no?
