I'm making a pokemon Emerald hack

So far I have starters as Cyndaquil, Roselia, and Totodile.

Also, I bumped their level up to 7. Not too high, not too low.

Rival's pokemon might be changed, but I'll have to get your help on it.

Also, when I try to open Advance Text, I get an error for Comdlg32.ocx being missing. Help D:

All of those, you must Google them and download them. Put all 3 of them in a folder named system32. After that, search Command Prompt and right click it, then click Run as Administrator and type down regsvr32 Comdlg32.ocx. Repeat the same process with the other ones except replace the "Comdlg32.ocx" with Comctl32.ocx and the next one as Comctl32.dll. I dunno if I'm right, I haven't done this in ages. Give it a shot.

I could help with better starter ideas more like original and stuff.

None of the OCX files will register on Win7, making those programs useless. I also broke the ROM by editing the header. Until I find a working XP computer, or a way to bypass the stupid AP in my copy, I'll be forced to stop.

I have put this 3 Comdlg32.ocx,Comctl32.ocx,Comctl32.dll 9 in system32 folder but also I got error message Comdlg32.ocx being missing.please help me now what problem is occurred.How to solve this problem?

You need to go into the command prompt as an administrator and type "regsvr <file>"

If your computer is 64-bit, you'll probably need to put it in the sysWOW64 folder.

No matter what the rivals first pokemon should be a pichu! or mankey! I like both.

Change your starters to : Magby,Roselia,Marril(or Azumarril)
I think that's a cool idea

actually you should put Comdlg32.ocx next to advance text then try it out!
