The Floatzel.Net Main Page with Pokémon HgSs news and updates has received some significant changes. A few unnecessary links were dropped and the real news was merged with the Pokémon news. It now shows a total of ten news items instead of four like before.

Hopefully, this will allow people to actually notice the news unlike before where most people would just glance at the PokéNews and move on.

To be honest, I can barely see which links have been removed.
However, the news now are much more noticeable, so I think people will view them more.

As a suggestion for a future update, how about you make small banners for the news type. The small colored boxes above the posts that say Pokemon, Announcement, Update, Tournament, etc don't really stand out.

Basically looks the same to me except for the news. We will re-do the site once the dex is finished right Cat?

I still think the banner looks a bit generic. Nothing bad, but the black doesn't stand out too well and the vector Floatzel's lines appear very thick to me, especially in the face.

... and Twitter is gone for good!

I think the whole site needs a layout overhaul. The whole rounded corners thing wasn't too bad, but I think the color choice isn't too great.

I don't like the rounded corners much.

Eh, I had some ideas for a new layout. At least I have a template unlike early on so changing stuff if is a cinch.
