I put XP on a virtual Machine (A copy I own, btw!), and moved it to a different computer. Now, when I run it, it says "Windows XP must be activated before logging on".

I press OK.

It says "Windows is already activated" and logs me off.

I log on.

It says "Windows XP must be activated before logging on".


So, get the pattern?

Is there any way to fix this, or am I going to have to reinstall it?

I have no idea, so I probably shouldn't be posting this.
It doesn't seem like anything you can fix, but I'm no expert.
And I'm also running a copy of XP that I own, but I won't tell you how I got it. :3

Movien to another pc should be fine as song as its still running under virtural box. If not then your sol.

I would probably recommend reinstalling - I really don't like Windows XP, and use CrossOver (currently a trial version - buying the full thing soon) to run Windows programs whenever possible. You may also have to call to have it activated.
