~Short~
Super Smash Bros. Brawl is the third smashing installment in the SSB series. With an awesome Story Mode, tons of new and old characters, epic moves, and some creative stages and items, this game is sure to delight anyone who finds it. You can also make stages yourself, and battle with other players online through Wi-fi. Go buy this game now! 4.8/5

~In-Depth~
Super Smash Brothers Brawl is the third piece of the Super Smash Brothers puzzle. After having its release date bumped back many times, it was finally slated for a March 9, 2008 release date in North America. And it was definitely worth the wait. With old and new characters from all corners of the Nintendo franchise like Meta Knight, Olimar and Pikmin, Diddy Kong, and the Pokémon Trainer, 40 new stages like Meta Knight's Halberd and Pokémon Stadium 2, a ton of trophies and stickers, and a level creator, this game definitely is a whole lot of new. Yet, at the same time, it's a whole lot of old; Players still fight to blast each other off the screen. But this gets a little more interesting with the Smash Ball; an item that, once grabbed, is almost guaranteed to give your opponents a big can of whoop-ass. And the fun continues online; You can fight against friends and strangers alike through Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. You can simply fight one of your friends who lives a few states away, or you can go all-out and fight up to 35 other people from around the world with the built-in tournament organizer.
Aside from the Classic mode, where you can defeat enemies in order to fight Master Hand (as you did in the older Smash games), there's also a story mode; the Subspace Emissary. This story mode will only take about 8 hours to beat, but that's nothing compared to the time it will take to find every little thing. The S.E. goes very in-depth, with quite a lot of backstory and normal story to make it the definitive story mode of the Smash Bros. series.
Of course, with so many good points in a game, there are also some bad parts. The stage editor, while you can submit your custom-built stages online, there are only a few sets of pieces to make them with, so don't expect to see a Delfino Plaza clone made by someone. Also, as you can battle random people, you might also get random disconnects. There are also a few hackers here and there, but don't let them discourage you; There's around 4,000+ people who are fair for every 1 hacker. And the chances of fighting the same person twice on Random Battles are next-to-none. The final nail in the coffin is probably the infamous Gigalypuff glitch. When fighting on the Bridge of Eldin as Jigglypuff, using a Smash Ball (Jigglypuff's Final Smash makes him grow large) in the gap while it's respawning will cause Jigglypuff to stay huge until it's blasted off the screen by it's mega-ness.
Overall, Super Smash Bros. Brawl is a gemstone for any video gaming fan, which is why this reviewer gives it a 9.8 out of 10. This has been Billy, and remember; You never know when there might be a Rotom in your computer.

I loved everything EXCEPT for Wifi. Too laggy, and too hard to add and meet new people.
