What would happen if every semi-major to major Pokémon site merged into one, or at least had the same fourm

It would be equivalent to what would happen if all the nations merged into one - War, hunger, and strife. And a lot more war.

...So, I personally don't like the idea.

No! With that, there won't be differences and there will be no efficiency. With competition, each and every site will try it best to achieve a very high rate from the users.

That would be a very bad idea because of:

1) NUMEROUS members.
2) No competition or uniqueness.
3) Difficulty of browsing/viewing information.

So, it's a definite no for me as well.

How else could we keep track of each other and have a good community? You wouldn't be able to have a conversation on a forum with someone.

Like on Gaia.

A lot of arguments, fights, and banning would likely happen.

Besides that, a lot of constructive discussions would also ensue.

Frankly, the drama at sites like PC and Serebii are already more than I can handle with.

Generally, people from competing forums (appropriately) hate each other. So no, a combination of fansites, especially ones as large as these, wouldn't be a good idea.

The online community should be split into chunks like it is now, so that people can join whichever sites they're interested in and avoid the ones they aren't.
