The Official Nintendo Magazine (UK equivelant of Nintendo Power - Though completely separate) has just shipped it's newest issue. This issue claims to have the world's first English review of the two newest Pokémon games, so I've scanned the pages for your pleasure.
I've included the cover of the magazine aswell, since it was so awesome. That's the Subscriber-exclusive cover - Non subscribers would have to choose between a HG cover and a SS cover.

For the first and last time...

Nintendo Power is not Official Nintendo Magazine.

Nintendo Power covers North America's Nintendo news. It is different from Official Nintendo Magazine in the fact that OFM is PAL and is written by different publishers.

The review isn't horrible, but still a little too congratulatory. A 94? Okay...

Nintendo Magazine for Pokemon is the equivalent of Famitsu to Kingdom Hearts. Of course they're going to give the games high ratings. They're more eye candy than a serious breakdown of the game's features.

But hey, if we're not tired of Pokemon's overused system now, why put it down? Why keep buying Guitar Hero or Rock Band games when they're all the same game to some point?

So really, a review for us Pokemon gamers out there is pretty unnecessary. Good to know, but not important.
