If you could have any six Pokémon, what would they be?

Conditions (just to clear things up):
1> You must pick the earliest evolution of the Pokémon. The Pokémon will be able to evolve into its later forms if given time. If you max its level, it cannot evolve. You also have full access to evolutionary items and anything that requires trading to evolve will be able to evolve just for the sake of argument. The Pokémon cannot devolve.
2> You cannot trade or catch new Pokémon. You can release your Pokémon, but you will never get a replacement.
3> Everyone else has their own six Pokémon.
4> You cannot do evil with your Pokémon. (Nobody else can, either.) They will only be used for battles, contests, and showing-off.
5> You can pick more than one of the same Pokémon (recommended for forks, like the Eevees).
6> You can take legendaries, but they are difficult to raise. (Just remember #4! You can't cause an earthquake or tsunami, either, unless it would not affect anyone other than yourself.)
7> Any Pokémon that can spontaneously/catylitically change forme (Deoxys, Shaymin, Giratina, possibly Rotom--still rumor) is allowed to change forme.
8> Please specify which forme you want for other Pokémon that cannot change, but still have multiple formes (Unown, Shellos, Gastrodon, Burmy, Wormadam).
9> IV's don't matter. Nature doesn't matter. EV's are your own input, so they do matter if you want them to.
10> Shininess is not special. Remember, many people are going to pick shinies, so only say you want a shiny if you like its alternate color more than its normal one.
11> Most importantly, think about it! After you post, you can't change your team! (Please, don't use the edit feature to change your team. I want honest answers, not "I changed my mind!")

I would really like to see how this goes! Please share your dream team with everyone else.

EDIT: not changing pokemon... just saying that if i chose lucario (or anything else) iinstead of Pikachu, i might have to change the whole team...

Eevee (not sure what to evolve into, probably Umbreon, Espeon, or Vaporeon)
Lapras (for flotation purposes)
Riolu (Lucario)
Pidgey (In my first ever playthrough of Pokemon, a Pidgeot was my main, so yeah)
Mew (A legend, I know, but also one of my first generation favorites)
Farfetch'd (Not great for type coverage, but I'm partial to it and torn between it and Pidgey)
