Alright kiddies, the tournament is finally today. PLEASE BE SURE YOUR BRAWL FRIEND CODE IS IN YOUR PROFILE! First the rules for those of you who forgot:

* Rule 1: No tourney tards
* Rule 2: All characters
* Rule 3: Random stage
* Rule 4: All items on (Except the Ray Gun, Starman, Fan,Lightning bolt, And Timer), Medium frequency
* Rule 5: No Hacking
* Rule 6: No calling these rules unfair
* Rule 7: Must have Wi-Fi Connection
* Rule 8: 5 Stock Battle
* Rule 9: Free for all battle (Which means not a team battle )
* Rule 10: Must have 15 posts to claim prize

Please be sure to set these settings before the battling begins. As a reminder you can choose any character, but you must be that character throughout the entire tournament and when selecting a stage be sure to choose Random.

Once you see who you are Brawling with, PM/IM/send smoke signal/etc to the people you are up against so that you may exchange friend codes (PLEASE DO NOT USE THE CHAT). Once you are all together, DUKE IT OUT! Whoever won must reply in the SSB Results topic stating who they were battling with and that they won. The brackets will be updated once everyone has completed the first round, and then after the second, etc.

I mean, let's say one of my opponents isn't online while I and the other two exchanged FC's already. How long do we have to wait?

Well if it's a family thing then there's nothing you can do but if it is something maybe school related or something you can easily postpone then go ahead and do it.

im going to be posting my brawl code soon, i just have a sister on the tv, itll be up soon.

I'm just wondering, are there/going to be any rules about stages? =/ I'm mostly asking so that I should know whether or not we should be prepared for something working against all of us completely (like the infamous Big Blue). Innocent question, nothing more.

The stages are to be selected randomly (near the bottom of the stage selection screen is a Random Stage button)

If anyone has any chat software on their computer that they use to communicate, lke Windows Live, *****, AIM, Yahoo!, etc., and you can't make it to Victory Road, use them to communicate with your opponents. It'll be somewhat more organized if you can. That's my suggestion to those who are going "hay gaiz weres my oponetns I ned there fc's nd there not shoing up"

But uh. Not only am I free Saturday, I also have the capability to record matches if you guys want me to. To put them on youtube and all that. It'd take me a bit to actually get them up though (I still have to figure out how to de-interlace videos and make them look good enough for HD), but I can record at least my matches from the console. If I could sit in on other matches and just throw myself off the edge before you guys start brawling, I can record those too.

Of course, entirely optional, just an offer, and if you guys are picky about the channel I can use megaupload to send the videos to Cat so they go on his channel.
