SP, as well. It has a backlight and can play (nearly) every Game Boy game!

GBA SP by far
even though the colour was good
only reason i got my sp was because (get ready for the true story)

Well, My Mum had brought cheapo batteries from the $2 Shop, and my Great Nan Was Over at my house, and the batteries wouldn't work in my GBC and she had just bought me a new game (forgot the name of it because i lost it and from what i recall it was crap)
So she said to my parents lets go to the shops because she had been looking through the catalouges before and saw the new GBA SP on the front page for $180 so it was $20 cheaper
And we went and bought me it, (It Was A Week or So before My Birthday and i still got another $150 then
Yay! GBA Sp And $150
then i found out that some durecell batteries ended up working in the GBC i tried them 2 months later I love *****y batteries!

The Gameboy Micro is my favorite to play on for later games. If it played Gameboy or Gameboy Color games, then it'd easily be my favorite.

I voted Gameboy Advance [s:16ezonu6]SP[/s:16ezonu6]. I didn't vote for SP just because I didn't have one. I'm sure the backlight is handy, but it's never gotten in the way of me enjoying the game.

I know this thread is kinda old, but I thought I'd give my opinion.
My favorite is the original Gameboy. Just for pure coolness and retro kicks.

Gameboy Micro even though it didn't play GBC games.

I agree, the micro is a very cool console. I still cant get my head around how small it is. Every time I pick it up, it amazes me. And I've had it for years and years.
But, as you said, it doesnt play original GB games or GBC, also the quality of the colour isn't so good.

I've never had a Micro, but from what I hear, it had a headphones port. It's now my favorite GB model. Otherwise, the surprisingly durable SP wins me over.

Gameboy color of course! I was my very first system, and I remember all the good times I had. It was cyan blue.
