The cheapest 1TB HDD I've found is £80 (~$128)
How much was your 1.5TB?
I currently have a 500Gb in my laptop, though I can only use 300Gb 'cause my laptop screwed up. I have 2 50GB partitions, but I don't know which one's the empty one and which is the Ubuntu one. :/

EDIT: On a side note, I'm surprised my internal drive hasn't exploded with all the reading it's doing.
