Anyone notice how Serebii states that Magikarp can learn Bounce through move tutor in Platinum?

http://serebii.net/pokedex-dp/129.shtml

Sure this seems like no great feat, but in fact, it's the first new move for a lousy Pokemon that has occurred since the very same tasty karp was given Flail in Gold and Silver.

I say this is one more example of Game Freak showing a little flair by giving Magikarp access to Bounce. It pays tribute to when Magikarp learned Flail in the original Gold an Silver games and only old-school gamers would remember this.

Just wanted to post this.

I actually knew that Magikarp could learn Bounce in Platinum good time ago.

That would be weird.

'What's that Magikarp doing in the sky?'
'RUN! It's going to kill you!'

Magikarp FTW. Hey, Cat, if you're reading, can I have a Magikarp adoptable nao?

It's been known for a while, but I just realized it myself. Only a few people would notice it looking at Magikarp's new attacks. Who would have guessed?

The funny thing is that someone either had to look into the new guide to find it could learn the new move or they had to try to use the move tutor on him.

Watch out grass types! Magikarp can use bounce!

I knew this for a while...

But even so, I just realized how strange a bouncing gyarados would be!

Even weirder than a Magikarp doing it. How awkward that would be.

I checked on Youtube to see if anyone uploaded it, but no luck.

I did find this though (slightly off topic but relevant all the same):

Think if ten thousand Magikarps used this in unison.
IT'S RAINING MAGIKARPS.
Or even worse, Gyrados.

Still, that's pretty interesting. Sort of like those "Strange but True" facts.

I think bounce is already being used. Just look at this video! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Atpbb3yhS9E

With just a little help, even Magikarp can be strong

Cool. Magikarps need all the help they can get.

Through this method, Bounce is the only Flying type move Gyarados can learn.
