If you could give any Pokemon a third type, what would it be and on what Pokemon?
Please add a reason to avoid spam.

Gyarados - Dragon - It learns many Dragon moves, and can learn Dragon-type TMs like Dragon Pulse.

For sure I do.

Scizor - Flying - Can learn Aerial Ace, Roost and Defog. It also moves by flying.

I'd add Dark or Steel to Giratina. Simply because adding steel would make sense for its status as Platinum's mascot, and Dark because that thing looks freaking badass.

Heatran - Rock, because of the way it looks. It lives in a cave and learns two rock type moves and one ground type move naturally.

Flygon should be part flying even though it'd be times 6 weak to ice.

Milotic - Dragon - It can learn Dragon moves like Dragon Pulse, Twister and Dragonbreath. Its egg group is Water 1 and Dragon, too.

I wouldn't give Arceus any new types, I'd change it's type to '???' (Like Curse when it's learned by a ghost)

I must disagree with the first part of that. Lugia shouldn't be water. It would take away from it somehow, just the image of it. I see why you say lugia should be, but it would add weakness to electric, and just kind of take away from it somehow.

Groudon would be cool if it were fire type though, that I can agree on.

Gengar - Dark - Due to Evilness.
Flygon - Flying - Uhh, his name?
Gyarados - Dragon - Used by Lance, and has lots of dragon moves.
Charizard - Dragon - As previously posted, this would make a brill combination.
Steelix - Rock - He is kinda rocky
Mawile - Normal - Thats what I thought first time I saw him.
