What's the difference between American English and British English?

A few words:
'Holiday' in the UK, 'Vacation' in America.
'Pants' means underwear in the UK, 'Pants' means trousers in America.

Stuff like that.

The 'Pants' difference can confuse and disgust people sometimes... XD

Examples of spelling: "Favourite" and "Favorite", "Colour" and "Color", "Analogue" and "Analog"
Then there are words like "boot", which is the British equivalent of the "trunk" of a car.

If you're asking about the site language, British English was the default that came with phpBB and I didn't want to bother downloading and installing American English because the languages are practically the same for things like a forum.

Which makes more sense.
I hate the 'Color' 'Colour' thing. My Gameboy 'Color' looks like a typo to me D:

There's also 'Fanny', that gets a few laughs out of Britons...

And they also make more references to tea and crumpets.

"'Ello guv'nah, wuld u leik a spaht uf tee?"

Besides what has already been mentioned, "ass" is spelled as "arse" in British English, and certain words (like ****) are way more offensive in the UK then here

LOLCENSOR

Don't forget all of the strange swears they have.

I was referring to the swears not the British by the way.
