Took one of my favorite Pokemon from Sun/Moon and painted it my favorite color.

Agreed, I think the design is quite a good mix of the two forms.

It's sort of like breeding a donkey with a horse to get a mule! Except in this case, it's wolves. Which makes me think... what if one of the ways to get it is by leaving the other two forms at a daycare?

I like it! It looks like the Midday form, but with the disposition and hair of Midnight form.

Maybe it's eyes turn red when it's mad or hunting.

Wait a minute.. midday, dusk, midnight... Dawn?!

If there is a Dawn form maybe it will have Midnight's shape, but with midday's eyes.

I was thinking likewise, possibly with a pinkish hue.

Midnight and Dawn could make good bitter rivals. Seeing how they both have a anthropomorphic design. We all know midnight is a "jerk-stereotypical" Pokemon. But, what if Dawn was a nice compassionate protector of all Pokemon, including the other forms except for midnight?

*Sets the scene*

A bunch of Mareep are eating grass in a field. The sun is starting to set... A pack of midday Lycanroc run past the Mareep, paying no attention to them. Suddenly, a roar is heard followed by a cry of fear. The pack of midday run back passing the Mareep. The Mareep are worried and confused, but stay where they are. They look into the words and see three pairs of red eyes. Some of the Mareep scatter, but a Flaaffy stays and watches. Three midnight Lycanroc burst out from the trees. The Flaaffy begins to regret his terrible decision, but before he turns around... A big pink blur strikes the ground in front of the midnight Lycanrocs. It is a Dawn Lycanroc. The midnight forms think they can handle it and charge straight forward. The Dawn form picks up a stick and hits the first one away while doing a spin so that when the other two were within range they get hit within a surprise swing. The Dawn form then starts to growl, his eye sockets pull back, and all of it's fur starts to spike out. It was as if the pink protagonist was channeling what midnight essence it had in it's genes. One of the midnight swings his paw down like, "Man, forget this!" And runs away. The other two run away as well, but not before spitting in the opposite direction. The Mareep and the Flaaffy were safe and could sleep in peace. The Dawn form also slept, but next to herd of Mareep and never had to keep watch for he knew he had and old friend that would signal an alarm if it saw something moving in the field. Who could it be? What Pokemon could stay up all night and warn others and defend it's self even when alone? Hmm... well...

the sun did finally set.

*End scene*

It was enjoyable typing this at 2:54AM xD

I could type a much longer sequel if anyone is interested.
