Cars 3 is coming to theater on June 16th. I am not the biggest fan of the Cars series, and think it is one of Pixar's weaker series. I liked the original as a kid, but I thought the second movie was bad. Mater was not a good protagonist, and it changed its focus from a racing movie to a movie about secret agents. Fortunately, Cars 3 appears to be a return of form for the series. We did see from the trailers that it does focus on Lightning again, and he is in a Grand Prix. I am hoping this movie is good, but I do not know if I even will see it or not.
