I wonder y when you play two player why the did not just make it anouther character from the mario series, like have the luigi be the second character?

You mean similar to how the classic Mario Bros. on the GBA (the multiplayer link-up game packaged with the Super Mario Advance series) was always a bunch of recolored Marios?

I would have figured they would have stayed along those lines insted of doing what they did. Where player Two is inactive just colecting and such the star bits

As for what GreenMan is refering to, the second player just aims the Wiimote to gather random star bits flying around on the screen. The first player is actually controlling Mario moving, jumping, etc. In the single player game you are controlling Mario and collecting star bits. I do think that the second player should have been Luigi and worked together with Mario (or alternated like in Super Mario Brothers when one dies the other goes). And why isn't Yoshi anywhere in the game?

It is funny with completing the main story line i only ran into one refrecne to yoshi, it was a planet in one of the systems though i can not recall what Galaxy it is in

I guess the reason they didn't bring in Luigi is because the game is centered around Mario? And don't criticize greenman, I mean I'm in college and I sometimes use incorrect grammar. It's nice to have a break from having to use perfect grammar, no?
