This is pretty huge news. It seems like Club Nintendo is being fully closed down. If you have any codes that need to be redeemed, be sure to do that ASAP, and purchase anything you want quickly. I'm willing to bet all the physical gifts are going to disappear within days, if not hours. More stuff will appear next month, but the physical items will probably be in limited supply.
Anyone here who uses the program should be sure to spend their coins/stars before the end of program (June 30 in NA, September 30 in EU).
WHAT REALLY!?!? OH NO I GOTTA GO GET SOMETHING FROM CLUB NINTE-- oh there's basically nothing of any real value to be had. Like. At all. e~e
Even those 700-coin posters I got aren't that great quality, although if you're gonna get ANYTHING from the store, I'd advise that.
A detail worth mentioning is that Nintendo has plans to basically relaunch their rewards system, and honestly I'm glad they're doing it and hoping that they'll make it better, because frankly, lately Club Nintendo's been pretty much a barren, outdated, anti-NA mess. I guess we'll have to see if the new system brings anything worthwhile this year.
1 – Yoshi648NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO . . .
I'm only a couple coins away from being able to get ahold of one of those 3DS game cases, which is something I could actually use, too. I can just spam EShop games or wait until they post something digital that I don't already have . . .
Also I guess this puts a deadline on how long I can take to get a Wii U, that being March 31. Hopefully they'll decide to go out with a bang for the Platinum thing.
Lastly, they said something about a new program. Don't suppose there are any hits as to what that might be?
Well that was sudden and came out of nowhere...
All my stuff is registered, looks like I got 830 coins to blow by June. Hopefully they have some nice stuff up by then (though I know all the physical stuff will be gone within 10 minutes of being put up, and naturally they will be up during the work day when I won't even have a chance to get anything).
They say this will make room for a new rewards program. I do hope it works better and we get better prizes, everything recently has been "worthless" digital downloads or stuff just printed on paper.
Side-rant: Anyone else find Nintendo of America has been doing a lot of weird stuff recently? Certain amiibo sold out everywhere with no clear signs of re-stock, America only getting the XL model of the New 3DS (and with no charger to confuse 90% of the population), and just saying up and out of the blue "Rewards program closing, you have 2 months to register any codes you have laying around".

1 – DragoniteAlso of particular note, the follow-up to Flipnote Studio, Flipnote Studio 3D is (finally) making it's way overseas as a special thank you to Club Nintendo members. http://flipnotestudio3d.nintendo.com/
3 – Dragonite, SpikyEaredPichu96, kakashidragonWell i have around 250 coins (plus a few more if i register anything i dont have register yet) I wonder if the next months rewards will be less coins worth, cause it will ve great if a bunch of games were like 80-100 coins for both 3ds and Wii systems. *Hopeing for a SNes Supermario game on the normal Wii next month*
This just occurred to me: between WFC getting axed last year and Club Nintendo this year, the Pokémon Global Link overhaul (it's a completely different setup from Gen 5) it seems like Nintendo's trying to rebuild their online presence from the ground up. Not an especially useful observation, but I though it was interesting. Sort of.
Anyway, I really, really really hope they put up some game rewards that we haven't already seen about thirty times, everything I've seen in the last year or so I've either already redeemed or have zero interest in ![]()
Club Nintendo has been updated! There aren't a whole lot of physical items, but if you want them, order them now.
As for digital games, I have a feeling my Wii is going to get a bunch of new titles. There are ONE HUNDRED EIGHTEEN selections.
Also, the site is under heavy load, so expect it to take some time. Again, don't lollygag.
1 – DragoniteI believe a lovely list of everything - or close to everything - can be found here.
I'd totally be jumping in on this if the actual Club Nintendo site hadn't been going down all morning >_< I actually had one of those post-play surveys vanish into thin air because it crashed between when I clicked Submit and when the server looked at my data, thank god that's only worth ten coins and not like forty.
edit
. . . it came back. Okay, time to try again!

Im still trying to see what we can get for the original Wii. My 3ds browser isn't loading the site right today, so i can only see the Wii U games.

Something really retarded I just discovered. Anyone getting the "Sorry!" message after an attempted login may wish to clear their browser history. The password is shown visibly in plain text in the address bar. Anyone that has a toolbar installed or other plugin that shares browser history will most certainly want to change their password on any sites that share the Club Nintendo password. (Don't waste your time changing it on Club Nintendo because the new one will probably break too.)
1 – DragoniteA bajilliondy logins and refreshes later, I managed to successfully order a set of Animal Crossing playing cards. Last 240 will go to a game when the traffic/hype dies down.
1 – GreenManFlipnote Studio 3D is now available for free to all Club Nintendo members. Log in (if you can since servers are still bogged down), and you will see an icon to claim it on the main page.
2 – Dragonite, kakashidragonHope everyone got their codes in, as Club Nintendo will not be accepting more code redemption. You still have until the end of June to redeem your codes for prizes.
For those of you who have reached Gold/Platinum status, Nintendo is again offering free game downloads. The following games are available (Gold members can pick from the Gold games, Platinum members can pick from Gold or Platinum):
3DS:
(Platinum) Animal Crossing: New Leaf,
Mario Golf: World Tour,
Mario Kart 7,
Mario Party Island Tour,
New Super Mario Bros. 2,
Yoshi's New Island,
Ultimate NES Remix.
(GOLD AND PLATINUM) Crashmo,
Feakyfarms: Your Creations, Alive!,
Pushmo,
Super Mario Bros 3,
Super Mario Bros Deluxe,
Zelda: Oracale of Ages,
Zelda: Oracle of Seasons,
The Mysterious Murasame Castle.
WiiU:
(Platinum) Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze,
NES Remix 2,
Punch Out!!,
Pushmo World,
Super Mario Galaxy 2.
(Gold and Platinum) Advance Wars,
The Legend of Zelda,
Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga,
Metriod Fusion,
Super Mario Bros: The Lost Levels,
Super Mario Kart,
WarioWare inc.: Mega Microgames,
Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3.
As expected servers are being bogged down due to heavy traffic so be patient.
Just a reminder: be sure to snag your Club Nintendo Platinum/Gold reward, and while you're at it, spend the rest of your coins before you forget. It doesn't look like anything new is coming.
If you want a free Grill-Off With Ultra Hand, send me a private message. I already claimed it a few years ago, and I have 90 coins left.
A final reminder:
CLUB NINTENDO COINS EXPIRE TONIGHT.
Be sure to spend them as soon as you can. Hopefully, not everyone else has the same idea and will cause the server to go down. Physical rewards are long gone, as well.
If you have no idea what to buy, I'll gladly take something off your hands. ![]()
