Who would you guys rather see as Champion Steven or Wallace?
Steven is a lot tougher and I prefer Mega Aggron over Mega Gyrados.
My guess is you'll battle Steven as champion the first time but when you rematch the elite 4 Wallace will be champion and Steven will be in Meteor Falls.

I like Steel somewhat more than I like Water. Plus I want to see him potentially use a Mega Aggron on me.

Did you seriously say spoiler warning for a game more than 10 years old? No sympathy for late arrival spoilers.
In my opinion Steven Stone is the only Hoenn champion and Wallace is just a big dreamer who never deserved it. Maybe they can incorporate Wallace's champion team on the side, but he better be the gym leader he's only good enough to be.

I definitely prefer Steven being the champion, even though I found Wallace to be more of a challenge.
I hope Steven's the champion… He's such an epic guy, and we might even get to give him the nickname Steven (mega)Stone xD Mega Aggron would be a pretty neat main Pokemon for him to use

Steven, for sure. I don't mind the example given by the OP.
But just for mind jiggles, if Metagross does get a Mega Evolution, should Steven's Aggron or Metagross be the Mega Evolution? Both?

As much as I like Steven, I prefer the role he took as a mentor and optional boss in Emerald than to that of the helpful champion role he played in Ruby and Sapphire. I'd love to see him in the game, him being my favorite character in the Poke-verse, just not as the champion.
