Im wondering how this move works. Right now im trying to figure out if i use Powertrick on Doublade with Evolite, will the new Atk/Def change be boosted or will it stay the same. For example: Evolite boosts Doublades Defenses right, then i use Powertrick. So would his attack be what Evolite boosted, or will evolite boost his switch attack to defense stat? I wanna know so i dont use it wrong. Then once i figure this out, i'll work the move on some pokemon that use it. (Looking at u shuckle)

According to a quick search from Bulbapedia...

So no, the Eviolite boost will not cause its buffed Defense to become buffed Attack. In essence, not having the Eviolite on at all will yield the same Attack stat.

Darn, then im guessing using a relaxed/impish nature then first useing Iron defense then powertrick wouldnt really do anything to its switched attack stat.

For what it's worth, having something use Bulk Up as part of a Baton Pass chain and then Power Trick isn't an absolutely terrible idea.
