What are the best nicknames for the new pokemon? here are some of mine:

Hoopa: Hoopla
Yveltal: Shinigami
Chespin: Chrome
Froakie: Explorer
Fennekin: Firefox
(Mega)Lucario: Furry-bait
Goodra: Needs Salt
Clauncher: DINNER
Espurr: Satan

Anyone else have any good ones?

That's actually what my sister named her's. I got Chespin. I named him 'Honeydew' as he looks as if he wants to dig holes.

Aegislash: Oni Giri (would be better if Aegislash was three swords, but whatever.)
Xerneras: Zygeltal (I have a thing about naming my version mascots after each other.)

I have others, but these three are the only ones I like so far.

Yay, somebody got it!

I also named my Noivern "Laurie", after Laurie Anderson.

I mostly know her from a song from Fine Arts Musical, "O Superman".

Yay for my mythological names~

Xerneas - Varda, after the Vala (goddess or archangel) of the stars from the Silmarillion.

Malamar - Cthulhu, after the Lovecraftian octopus-headed creature

Sylveon - Aphrodite, after the Greek goddess of love and beauty

Yveltal - Thanatos, after the Greek god of death

Zygarde - Jormungandr, after the Norse World Serpent, a gigantic snake and a child of Loki who is so large he is wrapped around the world, grasping his own tail. It seemed to fit Zygarde's earth snake qualities (due to Land's Wrath)

Avalugg - Ymir, after the Norse father of the frost giants
