Pokémon X and Y → How do you level up your Pokémon?

I applaud Pokémon X and Y for improving on so many things from past games, but this is the one thing I can't figure out how to do as easily as before. The only place I can find Audino is in the Friend Safari, and even then it's only level 30. Victory Road is annoying to raise anything that's weak to Fighting (Gurdurr) or Ground (Graveler with Sturdy) due to the Pokémon there. I need to get a few Pokémon up a bit more so they can participate in the Maison without getting trampled and learn some better moves.

What is the best place to grind for experience?

There's usually someone in the Battle Hall with a couple of High Leveled Audinos.

If you really want better moves fast, get the Pokémon fully evolved and go to the move relearner. Most evolved Pokémon will be able to relearn moves that they would normally learn at higher levels.

Ooh, that at least solves half of the problem, but I still need to get up to level 50, not to mention Heart Scales aren't given out like cand--oh wait, PokéMiles.

That's a funny question. You don't.

My previous methods were to spam rebattleable trainers, but that's no longer possible. Then it became Audino hunting, but you can't find them anymore a level above 30. The only thing I can say is to rebattle the Elite four with the max EXP Point O-Power, but I don't even know how helpful that would be. Normal Battling RAISES to Level 50 as well, does it not?

Just because I'm confused, what's a PokeMile?

Why not just do the 3-star restaurant challenge in Lumiose City? The Pokémon there are in the 60s and you can earn a ton of money from rebattling.

I didn't know the restaurants gave experience. I knew about the money, though.

PokéMiles are points you earn for doing things (frankly, I have no idea what besides Wonder Trading). You can exchange them for items from someone in-game, or you can send them to the Global Link and get a 50% off discount.

I think FS Audino + Lucky Egg + Exp. O-Power work well enough for getting up to 50 after doing it just now, but I can't imagine going after moves that are in the 60s or higher. I've got 13,000 PokéMiles, and Heart Scales are only 100 on the GL, so I should buy a few just for that. Or, y'know, the aforementioned restaurants.

Oh God, the last time I did that I lost all my money. Don't ask me how... I think all my actual battling is going to be done with Super Trained babies at this rate... The only other inexpensive option is to grind like there's no tomorrow. The Daycare could work too, but I don't think there's a spot where you can hold down a button unless you can get back to those slide panels.

I abuse Exp Share and battle every trainer I see. No need for extra training! (I wish it wasn't so OP)

There are no more trainers for me Now my ingame story team is all nice and Level 85 all, but anything else I want to do I'd have to wait days and weeks for if I waited to search out all the daily battles, wherever those might be.

I tend to go out looking for hordes, as deafeating all 5 Pokémon in the same turn gives extra experience. Other than that, I battle and win money at the Battle Castle and the restaurants.

I would do better at the restaurants if they didn't require me to beat the Pokemon in a certain amount of turns. My specialty is killing, not killing with style. I couldn't even do the thing with the maids in Platinum. I never come out with enough money earned because of that...

And because I don't have money, I can never buy writs at the Chateau to increase stuff. Everything revolves around you having the most money, and that's more difficult to do than it was in 5th Gen. I think MY best bet is the league... I feel like they're trying to say something about the French people.

But this isn't real life, I should freely be able to make exorbitant amounts of cash in little time using unfair methods and absolutely no compromise! D: Pout!

Well, looks like the most effective methods are either the Restaurant Le Wow (triple battles) or the Battle Chateau (after signing the Gold then the Black writs). That is, unless someone has a better method. Also looks like those are the best places to acquire funds.

Now I understand what you mean "I need to get my Pokemon to level 50"

The best way for me to do this are the restaurants LeWow and LeYeah (for the poor, which I currently am.) Thankfully LeYeah isn't too expensive and so it's a good way for me to fight decent trainers which give a lot of EXP with O-Powers activated. I also get a little bit of cash too, I'll consider it funding for the rest of the Big City.

It would help immensely if I could find the golden Friend Safari of Ditto, Chansey, and Audino. I need Lucky Eggs.

Floatzel hordes on Victory Road are relatively effective.

For me they're also relatively uncommon. I mostly run into Geodude/Graveler hordes and 9/10 times at least 2 of them have Sturdy, so I can't get the max KO bonus.

I always by the silver writs in the battle chateu. With doing this i actully have 5 lv100 pokemon now. What i do is give my best pokemon (or the one im using at the time) a luckyegg then battle everyone, then when i see them girls that use audino's i use my lv3 Exp O-power they then give me huge XP. (lv35 audiono's give me around 8,500xp, lv45 audino's give me 11,000xp) But as im a Grand Duke, i also keep fighting gym leaders, elite 4 members, and the champion. So ya i can pretty much get a pokemon or 2 (with expshare on as well) to lv50 in about 30mins to an hour depending on how often certin people appear.

I appreciate the existence of Audino for letting your Pokémon that are a bit behind... in the Battle Chateau. I actually kind of miss experience compensation now.

I just go through the Elite 4 with Azumarill holding the Amulet Coin.

Edit: With the Pokemon that need seasoning in my party, lol. Most important gets the Lucky Egg.
