It appears like the Pokémon Global has finally been launched. There isn't a whole lot to do on there yet, but it looks like the medals have returned, and there is a system to do things with your PokéMiles. Right now, only the shop is available, but it says attractions (like the Dream World?) should be available soon. The items in the shop are rather boring, sadly, with the exception of the Ether (60 miles) and Moomoo Milk (10 miles). There's also an interface to check the status of the Pokémon you deposited on the GTS and the rated battles you've participated in.

With how the servers have been, you might get errors trying to run the Game Sync.
