We currently only that Gardevoir, Marill, and Jigglypuff will gain the Fairy type in Generation VI. What other pokémon do you think will gain the new type?

I think that Clefairy is going to be a Fairy type because it have the word Fairy in it's name. I would not be shocked if some legendaries become Fairy type too like Mew, Mespirit, and Manaphy.

Still hoping for the rumor about the Fairy/Steel Mawhile evolution to be true.

Along with retyping of Chansey, Audino, Togepi, Skitty, Bellossom, and Alomola.

*cough* Pokémon in the Fairy Egg Group *cough*

If I were to go off that egg group as a basis for Pokémon to be retyped, we would be seeing a lot of Normal/Fairy types, which I actually hope is not the case. The last thing is another type combination that rivals Normal/Flying in numbers.

My idea with regard to the egg group is that some would be reclassified as pure Fairy, some as Normal/Fairy, and some will remain Normal (or whatever other type they possess now).

Probably what describes Faires like.... Creatures that may have moves revolving dancing and the moon? Lol. Perhaps also Pokemon who have descriptions that tie to emotions.

I don't want to double post, so I'll just edit this even though I just came up with this today: What about Lapras? If anything, getting rid of it's Ice typing and replace it with Fairy will probably give it a boost in competitive play. I can see it based on it's design, too.
