Because you can get a kanto starter after completing HGSS, I have decided to start a poll on your favourite Kanto starter.

In terms of when they aren't evolved, it's gotta be Squirtle but in terms of when fully evolved, it would be Charmander's evolution line.

Hmmm.....to mess around w/ the Critical hit glitch it would have to be Bulbasaur's evolution line.
And as a normal runthrough I usually work with squirtle

While I may not like bandwagons, I have myself an adoration for reptiles and dragons, as well as dragon-shaped things. So Charmander was my first starter I chose of course and is my favorite one. I've got the full evolutionary line worth of plushies of him too! But I must say, Bulbasaur is a close second favorite for Kanto starters. It's so adorable and it's like a little salad dinosaur thingy. So cute~! >w<

I don't even know if I should vote since I can't pick between Charmander and Squirtle. I like all of them, really, though.

I gotta go with Bulbasaur. While I was young and mainly just watched the anime, Charmander was my absolute favorite. But my favorite to use in any playthrough was Bulbasaur. I liked being OP for the first two gyms. It also started my tradition of starting any generation with a Grass starter.

I'd pick Squirtle. Then, I'd imagine that it had glasses B)

Charizard and Venusaur are cool, but I would have to choose Squirtle's evolutionary line, I find it perfect, and one of the most unique water types.

I've always been a fan of Charmander for my Kanto starter. :3 (I had a Charizard when I played Blue version)

Squirtle because charizard it too mainstream Honestly, Gen 1 is overrated as a whole.

Bulbasaur, since I picked himin my first canon Pokémon game, LeafGreen. Why Bulbasaur? I have NO IDEA!
