What are your favorite and least favorite genres of music and why?

My favorite is metal. They heaviness of the songs just flow so well with me. And there isn't really a genre of metal that I don't like, except for what ever genre Black veil brides is.

My least favorite is Hip hop, like Black Eyed Peas. I just never got into that feel good party all the time music. It just doesn't seem to fit music to me.

My favorites, oh I can't hate music. But what I really like listening to, especially now, is VGMs, 80's Pop, Classic Rock, and Psychedelic Rock. Especially Psych Rock for the bass~

My least favorite, no I can't even say that. I hate Country and Modern Rap. I really dislike the sound of country and the instruments it uses. Modern Rap I feel is too nasty to be musical and I noticed a lot of them have tasteless beats.

I tend to be quite open with the music I listen to, though I tend to listen to more upbeat music. I do have a few dislikes though, mainly pure rap and modern country. Both to me are just poems spoken to background music.

Least favorite? Modern rap and pop.

Favorite? Metal. Slipknot is my current favorite.

Favourite: Old School Rock/ Songs from games/ Electro/ some Indie.

Least Favourite: Modern Rap/ R & B/ Modern Pop.

Favorite: Rock. Whether it's 70s/80s/90s, I like most all forms of rock.

Least favorite: Country music. Not ALL country songs are bad in my opinion, but a lot of them are just brutal to listen to. I'm also not that fond of Rap, but I can tolerate it much more than I can country.

Favorite: Old School Hip-Hop/Rap, VGM's, Jazz, Metal, classical, R&B, Grunge, Underground Rap
Least Favorite: Modern Rap, Country

I like many types of rock and pop since the '50s, and anything with an enjoyable beat that isn't far overplayed on the radio. Video game music can also fit the bill, again as long as it's not overplayed. Country is alright as long as it's a little more traditional and less inspired by hard rock or pop. There are only a few select rap songs I like. Ballads and slow rock all depend on the individual song. Other genres (like classical, jazz, and metal) are mostly situational.
