The Victory Road Bulletin Board System (VR BBS), launched on November 30, 1984, was one of my personal legacy nostalgic online domains. Users had to dial in to use the system, and it didn't gain much traction, but I figured with the popularity of the Victory Road Forum that I should attempt to bring the classic system back online for all the new users to enjoy. You don't even need to dial in anymore, as it is fully compatible with Hyper-Text Transfer Protocol (HTTP), version 1.1 and can be accessed over the World Wide Web, just like Victory Road was as recently as yesterday.

Unfortunately, this means the "traditional" Victory Road will not be available for user access. While there are a few setbacks, such as only having access to a single location to store all threads and losing access to everything from before today, we think this change is very beneficial and will set the milestone in how Victory Road is run from today on. We also still have some classic threads that have been lying around for almost thirty years!

By that I mean that this better last just for a day because it's genuine beauty is overwhelming

CSS? JQUERY? HTML5? HAH! Who needs that flashy, booooooooring "modern" stuff (no one eeeever uses anything with the word modern in it. This new layout is so dang hot, sleek, and classssaaay. It'll attract all the users and women and Pokemon annnnnnd just. Yeah. Obviouslyyy best theme ever. Now all it needs is it's own CMD panel to navigate through the forums at an easier and speedier pace.

I'm logging back in for the day because this is just too awesome to pass up. I love some of the things that Cat can pull out of his sleeve.

Meh, I was getting tired of that newfangled "forum" noise, it was too self-centered, and was bound to be buried. I'm also very interested in this new-old advance in our society, and I can't wait to see how it flourishes!
