Both the mascots of this Generation are incredibly distinctive so which game do you think you will be choosing.

I'm from Generation X, so I'll go with X.

For now, I'm currently leaning toward getting Pokemon X. I like the stag legendary more than the flying one, so hopefully this game will get some good version exclusives.

Worst comes to worst, buy 'em both. :3

I like the letter x more so maybe x but time will tell.

From what i can tell the Y legendary (Ybird as i call it) seems to be another fire flying which really annoys me despite it looking cool. I like X legendary (Peacock-Deer) more as it looks fantastic and looks like it has good potential to be amazing. I will end up with both of the games at some point but i will start with X for the deer

I plan on getting X, because the shiny rainbow x-shaped deer looks epic. The Y bird is cool, but not as cool as a Slenderman noodle-armed sparkly venison.

Unless they pull a BW and reverse the Legendaries around to the opposite game than what you expect, I shall get Y version. Because of the completely and utterly adorable Avian Legendary~

I don't know yet, I just don't know that much about the two legendaries yet to made a decision about which game I am going to buy.

I'm a little confused as to whether these are supposed to resemble chromosomes, or are just supposed to be letters...

I'm getting whichever version my friends don't get so they have more of an incentive to trade with me. I don't care too much for legendaries in general.

I'm already saving up my money so that I can buy both. I'm digging both Fennekin and Froakie, and I can't choose, so I'm just gonna do an Old El Paso. "Why can't I have both?"

X baby, X is one of my fav letters, and that X Legendry is just beautiful. Forget choosing between starters I'm getting them all.

Im starting to hate this whole release thing coming in october, I just bought white 2 last month and they a spring a new game only for 3ds 9 months from now. (And i figure i wont be able to buy a 3ds just to play these) but im not sure what version i'll get if i do get a 3ds it depends what pokes are in what game and what types the new main legends are.

I think I'll be getting Pokémon X. I DO like Yveltal, but Xerneas is a blue deer with Christmas lights on his antlers! I mean, who DOES not like that? (You could give other Pokémon seizures and win the game. x3 *shot*)

I gotta go with Y. My wife wants X, so that way we will have different versions. Not too particular as to which legendary I get, so that doesn't matter.

right now since we know next to nothing about the games I guess Y since it has the wyvern thing. this might change obviously because of exclusives and whatnot.

Just going based off the legendary mascots, I would pick Pokemon Y.

I'm still contemplating, mostly due to the fact that I know little about the differences between the two games. I want to see something along the lines of what Black and White did, different locations and different settings for certain areas (like Opelucid), along with the usual "What Pokemon are in where" question.

My mind was made up once that cutie flew on the trailer screen at 5 am on the announcement trailer. I'm DEFINITELY getting Y because of Yveltal~ Hopefully the version exclusive content is pretty sleek on that version. Regardless, I won't care. I'll get it for sure. I'll get X version IF like, it were a gift. I won't buy it myself though. One version is good enough for me.

I really have nothing to back myself up with though- and if they don't have X at the store, but have Y in stock- I'll just get Y. Though in the end, I hope getting both.

I think I will get the version with Yveltal. That is one if the coolest legendary pokemon I have ever seen. Wondering if game freak will make these version ever more different than Black and White. BW made a big leap in version exclusivity by adding the white forest and black city.

I'm honestly uncertain at this point, since I only just got White Version 2 a short while ago. However I like how they took a complete jump to full 3d rather than 2d sprites running on a 3d overworld... Or so it looks like that to me from a video I watched from the Nintendo eShop.

Now that I finally know some of the version exclusives I'm choosing Pokemon X.

I'm getting Y. Dark types are my favorite types. My younger sister is getting X so I don't need to worry about version exclusive Pokémon.

I was almost certainly choosing Y but now with Swirlix and Clauncher, both Pokemon I want, it's going to be a hard decision. Although my brother is getting X, so maybe I can get a few via trade.

Yveltal is probably the awesomest pokemon design I have ever seen. WANT!

Im getting Y version just because of red/black legend, Dark and Flying typed pokes are cool looking. Plus im hoping my cusion gets a 3ds and gets X version so we can battle each other often.
