Lugia is my favorite because I think the simplicity of its design goes a long way. I also like the way its wings are constructed: they are very different than any real bird that comes to mind. The pointed blue tear-shaped elements that its eyes are placed on give it an air of both power and seriousness.

Personally, I've always loved Lugia. Back when I was playing Silver version, I couldn't believe how cool the new generation was. I almost got Gold because Ho-oh looked cooler (I was 12 at the time lol), but then I decided on Silver that night at Target.
When I first caught him, Aeroblast was awesome to use. In Pokemon Stadium 2, I would actually play with the rental Clefable just to try to use Metronome to use the attack.
Lol I hope the attack has as much punch in these new games.

It looks cooler, and appeals to me more than Ho-Oh, especially with its Water-typing (something I especially like). Not to mention it settles under the sea, which makes it the more awesome. |

It still is better to me than Ho-Oh : P |
