Not too long ago NoJ announced Black coloured Wii's are gonna go on sale in Japan... Then NoA announced they will sell Black coloured Wiimotes and Nunchucks in America. Now NoE have announced a limited edition bundle of Wii Sports Resort and this black coloured Wii (black coloured Wiimote and Nunchuck are included). This goes on sale in UK and Ireland on the 6th November and the rest of Europe on the 20th November. Extra black coloured Wiimotes, Nunchuks, Wii Motion Pluses and Classic Controller Pro (Upgraded version) will go on sale from the 20th November.

Now are you Americans jealous?!

No need to be mean about it (yes, I know we Europeans always get the raw deal, but don't be cocky when we get something good). Is there somewhere that tells me about this 'Classic Controller Pro', is sounds Pro-ey.
The only problem is that I already have a Wii.

The black colored Wii... doesn't look very pristine and sleek. Looks more gritty, like a PS3. I like the polar white classic color of the original Wii color. Although, there should have been more options for colors at launch.

I would've wanted a black Wii myself. IMO, black is better than white. Dark and gritty is the way to go.

Haha wow if you get that "controller pro" thing zsaber let us know what differences there are ewww gritty makes me think it would feel like sandpaper LOL I also agree with mtd though there should've at least been more colors or themes of some sort to choose from like they did with the Gamecube and N64. Humans will never be satisfied with just one option after all

I'm upset that they didn't release a black one along with the white, I would have picked black then.

Now I have my white Wii and I can't even trade it in, as I won't be able to get my saves and wii channels off of the old one.

Boot Mii. Homebrew that lets you backup your whole Wii and re-load it to another Wii if yours happens to break/get bricked/you get a new one.
Though, since the most recent update it can be a bit risky.

I've always been cautious with homebrew and the Wii, never really looked into it as it seems more complicated than DS homebrew. I may have to if it means getting a black Wii though... Will it back up the things that Wiis don't let you transfer? Such as paid-for channels and Brawl saves?

I think it takes everything from the flash memory (saves, channels, games). The only thing it that you'd have to hack your brand new Wii to get everything back on to it.

Don't do it the updates will get rid of it and you'll lose everything.

Unless you use the latest versions of homebrew... And on topic, I only slightly like the black coloured Wii over the white one...
