I can't BELIEVE no one's started a topic for the Mega Man X series. Anyways, enough of that.

I freakin' love the MMX series. The storyline is much darker than the classic series, and characters like X, Zero, and Sigma fit the storyline perfectly. Gameplay is great, and the music owns, especially the SNES MMX games. My personal order of best MMX games would go, from best to worst, X1, X3, X4, X5, X2, X6, X8, X7.

X1: 9/10: Awesome gameplay, music, and storyline. Nothing to complain about
X2: 7/10: Not as great as X1, but still a good game with great music.
X3: 8/10: Loved it. Great music, awesome upgrades, and some sweet Maverick battles.
X4: 8/10: Great for the first PSX MMX game. Awesome music, and a really dark storyline to set the tone.
X5: 8/10: Guns N' Roses references, lol. Also, great soundtrack and solid gameplay.
X6: 7/10: Wasn't even supposed to exist, but the music is still good, and Gate was epic.
X7: 6/10: Meh. X series was not ready for the leap to 3D. Music, as always, was good.
X8: 7/10: Great music, good gameplay (for 3D MMX), and Vile. Vile automatically ups the score of anything.

Any thoughts on the X series?

Although doomed to be flamed, I didn't like the x series. Its a bad accuasation seeing as I dont own any X games.
