Well, it's either that time or almost that time for us again, school time! Currently I'm loving it. How about you? But, my question concerns all the papers and things you have, how do you organize them all? For me, each of my classes (8 of them, but 4 a day) has a specific binder, folder, and notebook, unless the teacher specifies what they exactly want and do not want. Each binder has dividers for paper, classwork, and homework.
Although... I haven't been able to fully set up everything yet, so I'll be a bit unorganized for a week... or 2.

I don't like school.... BT
As for how I organize myself, I use just one big binder for all my classes (I do use dividers). I also use a folder where I keep handouts and all the homework I need to turn in. Since my backpack is mostly filled with textbooks, I only really need those 2 things to be organized.

I had them all in one of those binders that doubles as a pencil holder or something like that. I separated subjects by drawing a huge drawing pertaining to the subject. Then I'd somehow make the paper stick out so I know that it's a divider...

In retrospect.... A divider might have been better... Ah well, it made my binder look cool.

Why, because you don't have many IRL friends?
I used to carry just one binder around, but then came random binder checks, and the fact that papers went EVERYWHERE! And that's the reason I failed 6th grade math.
And ha, you have to carry textbooks around everywhere, my teachers are so lax with me~

Better? BETTER? Don't lie to yourself, the drawing was waaaaaay cooler than any divider I know of. I didn't use pictures in my binders, but for a cover, I made 2 for 7th and 8th. I'll attach them when I upload them.
Edit: Got 'em. The first is Shadow the Hedgehog, obviously. I drew it after staring at a picture of Shadow on the internet for about an hour. The other is a fakemon that I made. Shiftform, the evolution of Castform, with the multiple different forms I gave it. (And my Shadow type, which I made because of too much Gale of Darkness) I decorated it with Pokémon stickers, as you can see.

I usually have one binder with dividers separating each subject with tests going at the back of each subject.

This year, however, will likely be different, since I'm going into an advanced program and I hear I'll need more space. I'm going to have three binders with two subjects in each (I'll carry two binders a day because of how my schedule works) and a folder for homework. I hope it'll work better, since I've always had a lot to cart around with me.

I just shove it in an open space and take 5 minutes to get it back out. (I'm not very organized)

I have one binder to shove all of my notebooks/folders/pencils/homework/WTF in. Apparently being a freshman means needing to have a notebook for everything, which means said binder can't fit anything more in it. When I get more textbooks, I'll have to make trips to my locker to switch between 1 giant book to about 2 slightly smaller ones to 1 more small-ish one.

...my locker is a completely different story. Homeroom on 2nd floor, every other class on 1st floor. So I'll have to make so many detours just to not break my arms over all those heavy books teachers just love inconviniencing you with all year :/

HA HA HA HA HA LOCKERS! SCREW LOCKERS, I HAVE A BOOKBAG.
But... the serious reason I don't use them is because I forgot how to open a combination lock XD And every time I relearn, I forget. And that makes things inconvenient and uncomfortable with my useful but HEAVY organization system.

Go to class, receive paper, stuff in backpack.

That's basically it for me and it's always been how I organize stuff. The only thing I put in my binder is important stuff like girls' numbers. lolol jk I wish. ;'c

I am not organised at all. A day before school, I throw any needed books into my bag and borrow a pen or two from my sisters. It takes a week while attending school to get myself proper stationary.

I take whatever subjects I have for one of my school day schedules and put them into one binder. I take some pieces of paper and put them inside. Then I put dividers in the binder to clearly divide all the subjects to avoid confusion.

I prefer everything to be digital if possible. It's far easier for me to organize digital files than to organize physical files. Also, they're conveniently backed up and synchronized over SkyDrive, so no forgetting flash drives.

As for physical files, I now carry around a single 1.5" binder with four plastic dividers, each with two pockets. I use the front pocket in each divider for homework and the back pocket for other class papers. At the back of the binder is ruled paper, and the binder's pockets are used for stuff not related to any of the classes.

Well, I get all my stuff for school (I get a list of crap that I need). I have 3 classes in the morning, so I get all the books for them, then a break where I get the stuff for the next 2, then I get my stuff for my special class and study hall. But it might be different this year, since I'm taking an advanced math class at a high school this year.

Oh my God. If I could bring a laptop to school. And, y'know, bought one that didn't suck. Or even a tablet, that would work just as great. Bye bye, bookbag, hello everything binder. Being digitally organized is just far far FAR easier than being physically organized. And having to sort papers and clip things and... it's just too much work. If I didn't have a slight organization OCD, I just wouldn't care.

Everything that I don't use daily sits in my locker (this includes textbooks occasionally, even when they tell us to bring them to every class). I've decided to have a new system this year where I have one binder that is entirely for notes and lessons and things, then I have another smaller binder which includes a whole bunch of loose leaf (ruled paper, blank paper, graphing paper) and that's where I'll put tests, homework and work sheets. In the first bigger binder is where I have one notebook of 360 pages that already has dividers built in so I only need 1 booklet for all of my written notes, and separate accordion folders (still in this same bigger binder) which holds the notes I've typed up.
