This is probably posted somewhere really obvious, but I can't find it. What's the maximum size for an avatar? I just made an uber devil Mudkip (I joke - it's rubbish) but its too big for a size like Cat's (100x100)

It will automatically be resized.

No it won't.

The limit is 120x120, I think.

I don't get it because I already resized my picture to that and I still kan't put it up. It says the image has to be a file size between 0 to 20 Kib.

Is it a long animated image or saved in BMP format? Try saving in PNG, JPEG, or GIF.

Nope, it's not a GIF. it's a JPEG. I've got everything right, but it still won't go up. It's just a plain picture of Sub-zero, nothing special.

Post it as an attachment and I'll check it.

Well this one is 120x150 but I resized one for a kopy and that still didn't work. I even tried the resize option you have and it didn't work as well. Embedded image

So you tried resizing it as 96x120, resaving, and uploading?

Yep and it says this "The avatar?s filesize must be between 0 and 20 KiB." Honestly, I've never heard of KiB or at least not that kind of abreviation.

KiB is the "politically correct" version of "kilobyte", called the "kibibyte". The kibibyte (1024 bytes) is what we've been calling a kilobyte for years. The kilobyte is the advertising version, using 1000 bytes.

I was thinking that, lol. Strange... kause my file was smaller than 20 "KiB", but it still won't get on. -_-

Definitely odd. Try hosting it somewhere and using the external link thing (with the resized image)?
