Don't look at me like that. It's- it's not funny...
Although Nintendo shells out most of their big hits on their home consoles, portable gaming is by far one of my favorite past-times. The DSi was a big enough thing for me to upgrade to it, too. It's even getting a full length DSiWare release! (Look up Shantae.) The cameras and the sound toy might be a gimmick, but it's an AWESOME gimmick- the cameras are way better than they look (0.3 megapixel) and the sound quality's not too bad either. I don't mind the GBA slot removal; only complaint I have is that Portable Virtual Console hasn't been established yet.
I also want the DSi LL (or XL, but XL makes it sound like you're a fat guy) because it just looks so- friggin'- awesome. It's basically what the DS Lite was to the DS, a rehash with no significant upgrades. I bought the DS Lite too. I'll be getting the DSi LL. I don't care if it's a stupid decision.
Despite owning all of them at one point, I'll have to go with the lite. Since I lost my GBA SP it's the only way I can play my GBA games. I play GB games on Pokemon stadium, since all my GB/C games are Pokémon. While I like the DSi's new functions, there's not a lot that's good in DSiWare (The only good one I can think of is Flipnote). The camera is really good, but once you're done everything it gets a bit boring. And ACC files? Pah. My trusty R4 plays MP3s!
