Anyone have a Hotmail or Live account?

If so, go to Outlook.com.
They just redesigned your not-so-favourite webmail client into something professional. Comes complete with a new @outlook.com address if you want to, both new and aliases allowed.

Well, there goes my purple backround....

Does going "Professional" really symbolize progress in these terms now...
To me it all seems dull...

Oh well. At least it's not a total revamp where it wants me to link everything to Facebook or some stuff like that.

I really don't understand this blocky, single-colour thing that Microsoft are doing with the transition to Windows 8. It really doesn't look very nice in my opinion, more like something out of an early alpha before anyone bothered to make a proper GUI.

It's still less of a cluster**** than whatever the hell Windows Live Mail is right now, though, so there's a bonus.

I have been using Hotmail for daily purposes, while Gmail for formal and professional tasks, like contacting universities and such. I don't see this changing.

This new Outlook looks simpler and cleaner, but also emptier.
