Hi everyone. I'm a long-term Pokémon fan, and I go into periods every once and a while when I play the games obsessively (mainly to collect shinies), but I'm not all that active in the fandom other than occasionally uploading my fanart to deviantArt and making arrangements of some of the battle themes.

Cat333Pokémon has commented on my DPP medley before, and since I don't tend to be very responsive there I thought I'd drop by this forum to hang out. So here I am.

Hahaha, I know. A lot of sites that have small character limits for names don't let me use it, but I try to use it everywhere I can. It comes from a RL catchprhase I had, "You Forgot the Dysfunctional Dragons!" So on the internet, people can forget anything else they want, but the dragons are still right there in my name. They're also characters of mine I want to turn into a webcomic soon (someday when I stop being a lazy bum), but for now they're just fun to draw.

Thanks for the warm welcome. I don't post on too many message boards because I have this odd habit of disappearing at odd times, and despite the fact I'll have my hands full with music this coming month I will do my best to break that habit.

Welcome!
Yup, that was the thread.
I like working with orchestral instruments in remixes (mainly because I'm a classical music nut) and it's challenging (in the fun way) because every instrument has its own personality and limitations, and there are so many different possibilities for combining them. Also, orchestras are cool.
(not that I don't like chamber music and electronic music though)

The Poké-remixes are on hiatus for a while as I work on original projects... the "Divine Medley" in particular demands some major overhauls, and I'd rather have more experience in orchestral writing before attempting that.

Still awesome, though.
